Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Lake Maggiore

Arrival at the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – The Borromean Islands & the Stresa Festival

Spend the morning exploring the magnificent Borromean Islands, including the spectacular Isola Bella, home to the Borromeo Palace and its magnificent Italian gardens, and the charming fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori.

After lunch on the islands and some time to relax, the evening is dedicated to one of the highlights of the tour: a performance at the renowned Stresa Festival, where internationally acclaimed musicians perform in remarkable venues including historic churches, palaces and lakeside monasteries.

Day 3 – Lake Orta

Discover the timeless charm of Lake Orta, visiting the medieval village of Orta San Giulio, the UNESCO-listed Sacro Monte, and the peaceful Island of San Giulio.

Groups with a particular interest in music may also include a visit to Quarna, a village internationally recognised for its long tradition of manufacturing wind instruments.

Day 4 – Milan: Music, Art & Fashion

A full-day guided excursion to Milan, including the courtyards of Sforza Castle, the world-famous La Scala Opera House and its museum, the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, and the magnificent Duomo di Milano.

Free time in the city centre before returning to Lake Maggiore.
