Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Lake Maggiore

Arrival at the hotel, check-in and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Domodossola & Prünent

Guided visit to the historic centre of Domodossola, an important trading town since Roman times, followed by the UNESCO-listed Sacred Mount Calvary.

In the afternoon, visit a traditional dairy in Oira before enjoying a tasting at a local winery producing Prünent, the ancient Ossola expression of the Nebbiolo grape, renowned for its distinctive character and mountain terroir.

Day 3 – Lake Orta & Northern Piedmont Wines

Discover the timeless charm of Orta San Giulio, with the opportunity to visit the peaceful Island of San Giulio by boat.

Later continue into the Novara hills to visit a local winery and taste the prestigious Gattinara and Ghemme appellations, two elegant expressions of Nebbiolo grown on ancient volcanic soils.

Day 4 – Langhe & Barolo

Travel into the UNESCO-listed Langhe wine region.

Visit the innovative WiMu Wine Museum, located inside the historic Falletti Castle of Barolo, before enjoying a tasting of the legendary Barolo, often referred to as the "King of Wines".

A scenic drive through the vineyards of the Langhe and Roero completes the day.

Day 5 – Alba & Pollenzo

Guided visit to Alba, internationally renowned for its White Truffle and elegant medieval centre.

Continue to Pollenzo, home to the University of Gastronomic Sciences and the prestigious Bank of Wine, where local food and wine traditions are celebrated through a tasting experience.

Day 6 – Departure

Breakfast before departure.
