Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Lake Maggiore

Arrival at the hotel, check-in, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – From Suna to Cavandone

Follow an ancient medieval route linking the lakeside village of Suna with Candoglia, renowned for the stone used to build Milan Cathedral. Continue through peaceful chestnut woods and panoramic viewpoints before reaching the historic mountain village of Cavandone.

Day 3 – From Cannero to Cannobio

Walk along centuries-old trading paths overlooking the lake, passing picturesque villages and beautiful natural scenery before arriving in Cannobio, where there is time to explore the historic centre and enjoy the lively waterfront.

Day 4 – Stresa, Belgirate & Isola Bella

Walk the scenic Chestnut Trail from Stresa to Belgirate before boarding a private motorboat to Isola Bella. Visit the magnificent Borromeo Palace and its spectacular terraced gardens overlooking the Borromean Gulf.
